Par excellance, personal trainer Rocky Snyder joins us for a discussion about fitness in recovery. Rocky answers what Jack Lalanne’s got to do with it all and why more exercise professionals aren’t up to speed on how and why fitness in diet and exercise can help people in addiction recovery. Rocky’s Fitness Center in Santa Cruz, California is competing with Disneyland as the happiest place on earth. You won’t want to miss this conversation with a healthy, real-deal man in long-term recovery who teaches people how to look and feel great from the inside-out.

Fitness and diet can definitely help one get over an addiction problem, it has helped me quit cigarettes before so I’m sure it can help with other addictions. When you exercise you get a natural high that feels better then what any drug can do to you, and this ultimately led to me quitting cigarettes. Fitness has helped change my life, raising my testosterone levels which were too low and killing off my excess test levels. I was a fat slob, now I’m in shape and healthy, free of all addiction.
