The Arizona Department of Health Services has just posted a new update on the recreational marijuana dispensary licensing process. The sites will be currently available for public inspection until the end of the month.

  • has been convicted of a violation of federal or state marijuana or marijuana paraphernalia laws and does not have an expunged felony OR is eligible and has filed a petition for expunged charges related to possession of less than 2.5 ounces of cannabis.
  • Has a spouse, surviving spouse, parent, child, sibling, or legal guardian who has been convicted of a violation of state or federal law related to marijuana or marijuana paraphernalia.
  • Lived in a community disproportionately affected by Arizona’s former marijuana laws for at least three of the last five years. (The state adds that these criteria are still under development and will be incorporated into the rules by September 1, 2021.)
  • Attending an ADHD approved training course
