The Arizona Department of Health Services has just posted a new update on the recreational marijuana dispensary licensing process. The sites will be currently available for public inspection until the end of the month.

We are currently working with the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADAHS) to finalize the process for new dispensaries to apply for a license to enter the Arizona medical marijuana industry. We will have detailed information on our website as soon as this process is complete and dispensary applications can be submitted.

Dan Kingston 4 hours ago Cannabis News The Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) will issue permits for marijuana dispensaries, called social justice licenses, this year. These permits are for people living in communities that have been heavily impacted by the war on drugs. word-image-8851 The ADHS has not determined which communities qualify for these social justice licenses, ABC 15 reports, the department is in the process of developing rules on the matter. Under the proposed rules, applicants for a capital stock license must have resided in Arizona for at least three of the past five years and meet at least three of the following criteria:

  • Have had a household income below 400% of the federal poverty line for at least three of the last five years.

ADHS will use a lottery system to select social capital licensees over the next six months. A $5,000 non-refundable application fee is required to obtain a permit. 2021-05-21

The State of Arizona is an emerging state for the medical marijuana industry. But what does this mean for the people who live in the state? All the while, the state is in the midst of its own fight over the legality of the cannabis industry, with some in favor of medical marijuana while others are still against it. However, with a new year just around the corner, the question remains: will people be able to legally obtain medical cannabis in Arizona in 2014? ~ ~ ~ Arizona’s new state law allows medical marijuana dispensaries to open, and the Department of Health Services (DOH) is now accepting license applications. The DOH is still accepting applications for dispensary licenses until June 20, 2015, and the dispensaries will be able to open on July 1, 2015.

According to the Arizona Department of Health Services, the application process is going smoothly, and they are currently accepting all applications. Applications are due by April 18, 2016, and if you want to know more about the process, then you should check out their website: http://www.azdhs.gov/medical-marijuana/dispensary-licensing/ If you live in Arizona and are thinking about starting a medical marijuana dispensary, you may want to act soon, so that you can apply for the license you want.
