How to make a peach pie
First, it’s important that the pan is hot enough to cook pancakes in, so preheat the electric skillet or frying pan to 375 degrees. Then add the pancake mixture to the bowl. Then add the water and egg and mix gently until a smooth dough forms. If you stir too vigorously now, the pancakes will become a bit stiffer and heavier. Most importantly, they are light and airy. Then gently add the cinnamon and diced peaches. At this point, I prefer to let the dough rest for a few minutes. This makes the pancakes soft and tender. While the dough is resting, make sure the pan is hot enough. You can easily do this by adding a few drops of water to the pan. When the drippings crackle, your pan is ready. Then add the melted butter and spread it in the pan with a spatula. For each pancake, add a little less than 1/4 cup of the diced peach batter to the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes undisturbed. When bubbles appear on the pancakes, it’s time to flip them over and bake for another minute. Keep them warm in the oven until all the dough is used. Then serve them with hot syrup. My favorite recipe for these pancakes is maple syrup.
Note of ingredients
Like I said before, I try to keep the aluminum as far away from the food as possible. The verdict may not be in yet, but there are still too many examples of aluminum-related health problems. So be careful with the ingredients in ready-made mixes. Two other brands of blends that I highly recommend are Bob’s Red Mill . You can also try Stonewall Kitchen’s buttermilk pancake mix. Both companies are excellent. It is up to you to decide if you want to remove the skin of the peach or not. I cooked them both ways. If you want to remove the skin, there are two easy ways to do so. First, cut the peel off with a sharp knife. The only downside is that you lose some meat. The second method is to immerse the peaches in boiling water for 1 minute. - 1 cup of water
- 1 egg
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon

- Serve the pancakes warm with maple syrup.
